Soon after taking over as CEO of Viglacera Corporation – JSC, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh moved quickly to address key priorities, visiting production facilities in both northern and southern Vietnam. The visits were designed to give him a comprehensive view of operations, hear proposals from the ground and set priorities for production, business and investment.

The delegation included the Deputy CEOs responsible for relevant business areas, the Corporation’s Chief Accountant, representatives of its specialist departments, and the leadership, supervisory boards and relevant teams from each unit.
A hands-on assessment of operations on the ground
During the visits, the CEO inspected the units’ assets, toured factory premises and reviewed production lines across Viglacera’s core businesses, including architectural glass, tiles, porcelain and sanitary ware.
Company leaders reported on production and business performance, production-line capabilities, product quality, market development and upcoming investment plans. They also spoke candidly about operational challenges, giving the Corporation and its units an opportunity to explore practical solutions together.
At Viglacera Tien Son, the CEO toured the tile production lines at the Viglacera My Duc and Viglacera Eurotile factories, as well as the Vasta Stone sintered stone warehouse and CNC workshop. Following his site visits, he commended the company’s efforts to invest in technology, broaden its product portfolio and strengthen its processing capabilities to meet the market’s increasingly demanding requirements.

At the glass businesses, the CEO focused on operational capabilities, product quality and production-line efficiency. At the porcelain and sanitary ware businesses, discussions centered on raising productivity, strengthening quality control, optimizing costs and developing higher-value products.
Linking technological innovation with investment returns
Across the visits, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh called on each unit to review its operations, strengthen management and respond proactively to market shifts. He urged factories to invest in advanced technologies, automate more production stages, use raw materials and energy more efficiently, and reduce manufacturing costs.
He emphasized that technology investment must deliver more than increased capacity. It should bring tangible improvements in productivity, quality, cost and competitiveness. Each investment project should be carefully assessed against market demand, sales potential and the Corporation’s overall development strategy to ensure resources are used effectively over the long term.
Alongside maintaining existing product lines, the units should take the initiative in developing new products with greater technological content and added value, while making the most of the connections across Viglacera’s building materials ecosystem. Product development should go hand in hand with market research, distribution network development and better service.
At the meeting with Viglacera Tien Son, the CEO reviewed the company’s fast-tracked aerated concrete project, which is being developed to meet anticipated market demand, and gave specific guidance on its implementation.
The visits to production facilities across both regions reflect Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh’s hands-on and determined approach from his first days in the role. By inspecting operations directly, listening to teams on the ground and setting clear priorities, he aims to encourage continued innovation and stronger performance—reinforcing Viglacera’s competitiveness and supporting its sustainable growth in a new phase of development.
